We are given that the rectangle in question ABCD is made entirely of squares, we know that the sides of the square are the same. Thus, working out from the innermost square of side 1 unit, we will find the length of the sides of the rectangle ABCD as given in the following diagram:

From the figure, it is clear that the sides of the rectangle are :

AB = 34units

AD = 21 units.
