(choose chapter or problem)

A company is performing a failure analysis for two of its products. It found that for the rst product 76 out of 243 failures were due to operator misuse, while for the second product 122 out of 320 failures were due to operator misuse. Construct a 99% two-sided condence interval for the difference between the two products of the probabilities that a failure is due to operator misuse. Based on this condence interval, is there evidence that these probabilities are different for the two products?
