Crystallization is an important step in the recovery and purication of biological molecules such as enzymes and proteins. The determination of conditions that produce suitable crystals is of great interest to molecular biologists. In one experiment, crystals had appeared within 24 hours in 27 out of 60 trials of a particular solution. Calculate a 95% two-sided condence interval for the probability of crystallization within 24 hours using this method.
