Propose a force standard different from the example of a stretched spring discussed in the text. Your standard must be capable of producing the same force repeatedly.

In analogy to the force standard example given, we can propose a simple pendulum. In a simple pendulum, we have a point mass that is suspended from a string or a wire having a negligible mass.

The mass is displaced by a certain amount (angle ) to a position and if it is released from that position, it will oscillate about the equilibrium position of the pendulum.
