Electron density is the determination of the negative charge upon each atom. It is represented as delta \(\text { (?) }\). A positive sign on it represents a low electron density whereas a negative sign represents a high electron density.

The areas of high and low electron density in the given compounds are shown by \(\delta^{-}\) and \(\delta^{+}\) respectively.
