Chapter 1 Problem PROBLEM 1-24

Question

Which of the following compounds show cis-trans isomerism? Draw the cis and trans isomers of those that do.

(a) \(\mathrm{CHF}=\mathrm{CHF}\)

(b) \(\mathrm{F}_{2} \mathrm{C}=\mathrm{CH}_{2}\)

(c) \(\mathrm{CH}_{2}=\mathrm{CH}-\mathrm{CH}_{2}-\mathrm{CH}_{3}\)

(d)

(e)

(f)

Solution

Step 1 of 7
