a.The total kilocalories that can be acquired from black cherry can be calculated as follows:

1 g of carbohydrate contains 4.0 kCal.

Hence, 39 g carbohydrate contains \(39g \times 4kcal = 156 \ kcal\)

From the table, 5 g of fat contains \(5g \times 9kcal = 45 \ kcal\)

From the table, 10 g of protein has \(10g \times 4kcal = 40 \ kcal\)

Hence, the total kilocalories can be found as follows:
