Create a piecewise linear function and sketch a graph for this scenario, where body temperature, T(x), is a function of time x in hours since 6 a.m. a. You are feeling fine at 6 a.m. and your temperature remains a normal 98.6 F. But by 8 a.m. you start to feel feverish. Your temperature begins to rise at a rate of 0.5 per hour for 4 hours. Your temperature remains at this level for 6 more hours and then gradually decreases at a rate of 0.25 per hour until it is back to normal. b. What is your temperature at 8 a.m., noon, 6 p.m., and 10 p.m.?
