The law of Multiple Proportions is given by Dalton. It is the third postulate in Dalton’s atomic theory.  As per the law, when 2 elements combine with each other and form more than one compound, the mass of one element that consolidates with a fixed mass of the other element is always in the ratios of small whole numbers.
